Getting ready for MIDTERM EXAM
1. Prepare for Spoken & for Listening (WED.) part of Midterm
      a.       Listening = Ch 3
      b.      Spoken: Don’t stress out. It’s moi, Madame – not a stranger.
                We've chatted in French before, so it's all smooth sailing.
2. Study for Midterm : See your Review sheet
     a. Ch 3 (subjunctive!) + Au Revoir = focus
     b. This doesn't mean you should ignore the other info on the review sheet.
         It’s to help you decide how to study – where to focus  your 
         attention/time.
3. Fill out your "Feuille de Patate" to reflect what we've seen so far. UPDATE IT! You will hand it in on exam day.

NOTICE: Au Revoir Les Enfants portion of the exam:
A. Histoire (1-5)
B. Vocabulaire (11x3 = 33pts) ...Définition en français
C. Compréhension (4X7 = 28 pts)
        -l'histoire, l'année, la date, les personnages
        -la situation politique
        -l'école, les écoliers, les profs
D. Une lettre (Julien à sa mère: décrivant Jean) 19.5 pts
E. Une lettre (Jean à sa mère: décrivant Julien) 19.5 pts
You will need to use passé compose and imparfait to talk about what the boys did...etc. You will need to use Si clauses to indicate.

1. You handed in your paragraph & comparison chart.
2. Finished re-watching Vue 3 & answered questions.
3. Corrected Vue 4 vocab: watched Vue 4 & answered questions.

Madame was absent today. You each presented your PPt about a classmate. Alice recorded them.  You (hopefully) watched ARLE Vue 3 & worked on answering the vue questions.

3. INTERRO: Vocab from Vues 1-3. Format: You will be given a FRENCH definition, and you will have to give the associated FRENCH word. There will be no word bank.

We reviewed question formation in French.
We added "interrogative adjectives" - QUEL + variants. (roughly equivalent to "which")
You wrote up your interview questions and then interviewed your partner about his/her background.

1. Create a 5-slide PPoint/Prezi about your partner. Chose 5-7 of the answers you got in the interview and make a light-hearted presentation. Each slide will have 1-3 sentences on it. If your partner had lame answers, you are allowed to create a reality for him/her. He/She was asking for it, non?
2. A Sub will be with you next class. You will present & do a little work on Vue 3 (questions). 
3. Note that you will have a Vocab quiz on Vue 1-3 on Wednesday when I'm back. KNOW YOUR VOCAB! You will be given a definition in French, and you will need to write the word in French. There is NO list of words to help you out.
